The 2026 Concept-Based Learning Annual Conference will be the third academic event organized by IES. Building upon the successful foundations laid by our 2024 and 2025 Concept Based Learning conferences, this gatherisng has now been formally established as IES's premier annual professional development forum.
Consistently positive feedback from past participants confirms the significant value of this event, driving our commitment to continue this essential conversation. This year's conference remains dedicated to delivering high-quality academic insights and practical wisdom, fostering the transition from knowledge transmission to the cultivation of conceptual understanding in classrooms worldwide.
We are expecting this conference could:
• Deepen Professional Expertise: Enhance educators' systematic understanding of the theoretical foundations and practical frameworks of concept-based learning.
• Build a Practitioner Network: Connect school leaders and teachers into a supportive, sustainable global professional learning community.
• Catalyze Classroom Innovation: Empower participants to translate conference insights into actionable, subject-specific curricular and pedagogical innovations within their own contexts.
