About Job:

  • • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of the Individuals & Societies curriculum.
    • Integrate both Chinese and international perspectives within the curriculum, reflecting the school’s bilingual and bicultural philosophy.
    • Build, mentor, and support a dynamic team of Humanities teachers, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
    • Oversee the use of data, assessment, and feedback to drive student progress and departmental improvement.
    • Contribute to whole-school academic leadership and cross-curricular initiatives.
    • Foster an inquiry-driven, concept-based approach to teaching that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and intercultural understanding.

About You:

  • • Bachelor's degree in related field required, advanced degree(s) preferred.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience
    • Expertise in and a passion for education and a genuine interest in working with teenagers.
    • Excellent communication skills, the ability to take the initiative and the flexibility to deal with change.
    • Enthusiasm, energy, creativity and the willingness to take risks
