About Job:

• Take overall responsibility for the teaching management and academic coordination of the Mathematics department; formulate the department’s overall teaching plan and annual development goals to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching delivery.
• Design a tiered teaching framework tailored to the curriculum characteristics, student learning profiles, and cognitive development rules; guide teachers in implementing differentiated instruction to ensure effective teaching outcomes across all grade levels.
• Lead subject-based teaching observations, lesson evaluations, academic discussions, research projects, and teacher training activities to drive pedagogical innovation and support the professional growth of the teaching team.
• Keep abreast of the exam board requirements and the school’s strategic positioning for the subject; coordinate adjustments to syllabi and teaching plans, optimise course offerings, and ensure strong alignment between teaching objectives and university admissions goals.
• Coordinate Mathematics department teachers’ participation in student advisory roles, parent meetings, open days, marketing and admissions events, and professional development training to support the school’s brand building.
• Liaise with different divisions, academic affairs, and administrative departments; coordinate and resolve issues related to subject teaching to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
• Candidates who are willing to serve as form tutors (with additional stipend) are preferred; provide guidance to form tutors within the department to support effective student management and home-school communication.
• Complete other teaching management and subject development tasks assigned by the school.

About You:

• Master’s degree or above in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field, with a solid academic background; overseas study or international education experience is preferred.
• Familiar with the syllabi of international curricula (A-Level/IB/AP); minimum 3 years of full-time A-Level Mathematics teaching experience, with prior subject leadership or academic management experience highly preferred.
• Excellent English proficiency (speaking, listening, reading, and writing); capable of delivering full-English lessons and leading academic workshops in both bilingual and full-English settings.
• Passionate about education with a strong sense of professionalism and dedication; enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative, with a positive work attitude.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to effectively lead the department, coordinate home-school relations, and drive continuous improvement in subject development and teaching quality.
