About School:
We are an American high school located in Shanghai, China. Our 500 G9-G12 students aim to study abroad in the USA, Canada, UK, Singapore etc. We currently employ 40 subject teachers, of whom at least 50% are International teachers from around the globe. Our students study both the US Common Core and AP curricula. Our school is at an exciting time in its development, where we seek to recruit experienced and professional high school teachers to join us on our journey as we continue to grow, evolve, and expand.

About Job:
• Design and deliver AP Chemistry courses in accordance with College Board curriculum frameworks and exam standards.
• Instruct students in core AP Chemistry concepts, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, reaction kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry.
• Plan and supervise laboratory experiments, guide data collection and analysis, and develop students’ scientific inquiry and lab skills required for the AP exam.
• Create and grade quizzes, unit tests, lab reports, and practice exams; provide specific feedback on problem-solving and conceptual understanding.
• Analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps, differentiate instruction, and improve student readiness and scores on the AP exam.
• Collaborate with the science department to align curriculum scope and sequence, share resources, and maintain consistent academic rigor.
• Organize review sessions, mock exams, and targeted workshops to strengthen exam techniques and maximize student AP scores.
• Ensure compliance with lab safety regulations, manage chemical materials and equipment, and maintain a safe laboratory environment.
• Monitor updates to AP Chemistry curriculum and exam changes, and adjust teaching materials and strategies accordingly.
About You:
• Native speaker of English or to have obtained a university degree in which the instructional language was English.
• Bachelor's degree with a major or minor in Chemistry or a relevant field.
• Strong expertise in AP Chemistry.
• Two or more years of high school Chemistry teaching experience.
• Teaching License/Qualification.
About Contract:
