About School:

We are an American high school located in Shanghai, China. Our 500 G9-G12 students aim to study abroad in the USA, Canada, UK, Singapore etc. We currently employ 40 subject teachers, of whom at least 50% are International teachers from around the globe. Our students study both the US Common Core and AP curricula. Our school is at an exciting time in its development, where we seek to recruit experienced and professional high school teachers to join us on our journey as we continue to grow, evolve, and expand.

About Job:

• Design and deliver AP Statistics courses aligned with College Board curriculum frameworks and exam standards.
• Teach exploratory data analysis, probability, sampling distributions, inference, and statistical modeling for AP exam preparation.
• Develop and administer quizzes, tests, projects, and practice exams; grade student work and provide timely feedback on reasoning and data analysis.
• Integrate technology such as calculators, statistical software, and digital tools to support data exploration and modeling.
• Analyze student performance data to identify gaps, differentiate instruction, and improve student success on the AP exam.
• Collaborate with the math department to align scope and sequence, maintain rigor, and share instructional best practices.
• Support students in developing statistical literacy, critical thinking, and clear communication of quantitative arguments.
• Organize review sessions, mock exams, and targeted workshops to strengthen exam readiness and maximize student scores.

About You:

• Native English speaker, or holder of a university degree from an English-medium institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in AP Statistics; Two or more years of teaching experience in high school Mathematics or Statistics.
• Teaching License/Qualification.
• Excellent communication skills; maintain a professional and positive attitude towards colleagues, parents and students.
