Set to open in September 2020, the school is a state‑of‑the‑art bilingual school for students aged 6–15. The school delivers a truly bilingual learning experience, harmonising essential elements of the Chinese National Curriculum with proven international teaching approaches. Instruction is carried out in both Mandarin and English, ensuring students benefit from the strengths of Eastern and Western educational philosophies.

About Job:

  • • Lead the design and implementation of a whole-school curriculum and assessment framework that ensures alignment, progression, and consistency across Primary, Secondary, and bilingual streams.
  • • Ensure the design and delivery of a balanced and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of bilingual learners and prepares students for IGCSE, IB, A-Level, and Chinese examinations.
  • • To monitor and evaluate academic standards in line with bilingual schools and school procedures, including benchmarking against competitors.  
  • • To oversee academic monitoring and evaluation cycles, ensure the delivery of consistently high academic standard and promote a positive learning culture throughout the school.  
  • • Supporting school admissions through arranging necessary coverage from academic team to promote school to the perspective parents community.  
  • • Evaluating school performance and identifying priorities for continuous improvement
  • • Demonstrate commitment to the continuing professional development of all employees
  • • Produce, implement and review the school’s strategic development plans

About You:

  • • A Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • • Experience of curriculum planning and development and significant experience of delivering IG AL or IB curriculum in your subject.
  • Hold a teacher certificate
  • • Be good at communicating with students and stimulate their initiative in learning.
  • • Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team work spirit.
  • • Proven experience of leading, taking part in and building/developing people and successful teams, and of managing change
  • • Effective strategies for maximising student enrolment and achieving commercial success, including personal involvement in school promotion
