About Job:

● Responsible for developing students oral and written communication skills while enhancing their proficiency in the English language
● Use engaging teaching techniques, including group work, discussions, debates, and multimedia resources, to enhance student participation and learning
● Comply with national and regional guidelines and standards for teaching English as an additional language
● Assess and review coursework progression while enhancing schemes of work to meet evolving educational standards
● Oversee progress through effective assessment and tracking by establishing high expectations for student performance
● Design challenging assignments that encourage student development and expand their areas of interest
● Create an effective learning environment that aligns with the school’s code of conduct
● Leverage suitable learning materials to deepen students’ academic knowledge through library resources, ICT, and other educational technologies
● Continually assess teaching methods to improve effectiveness
● Develop a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity beyond the curriculum
● Systematically track and document students’ progress, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and communicate plans while monitoring student’s progress against set standards

About You:

  • ● Bachelor’s degree in English or a related subject
    ● A teaching certificate
    ● Extensive experience in teaching English as an additional language at the secondary school level
    ● Familiarity with educational technology
    ● Ability to implement innovative teaching methods with a strong focus on enhancing student engagement
    ● Expertise in recognizing language learning challenges and implementing strategies to overcome them
    ● Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students and colleagues in a culturally diverse environment
