About Job:

● Responsible for planning and teaching English and English literature classes while supporting students in their learning
● Help students in understanding and analyzing age-appropriate novels, short stories, poetry, and plays, while encouraging critical thinking and interpretative skills
● Develop and implement a comprehensive English literature curriculum for the school
● Support student development by collaborating with other teachers and departments including assisting with ESL learning across various subjects and programs
● Enable students to connect their learning to real-life contexts, helping them develop practical skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them
● Develop a range of appropriate classroom expectations based on clearly defined outcomes and principles
● Participate in interdisciplinary teaching with other school teachers whenever possible
● Promote cross-cultural learning among students

About You:

• ● Bachelor’s degree in English Literature or a related field
  ● At least 2 years of experience teaching English at the high school level
  ● An international teaching certificate
  ● Be familiar with how data is used to develop strategies and guide informed decision-making in teaching
  ● A collaborative individual eager to share knowledge and learn from colleagues worldwide
