● To promote excellence in the quality of the education provided, working with the Head of School and staff to sustain and enhance the standing of the school.
● To ensure that positive communication is maintained with parents through reports, parents’ evenings, letters, consultation groups and other informal opportunities
● To lead in the admission process for the testing, interviewing, and evaluating of applicants for enrolment in line with the school enrolment plan.
● To effect the continuing development of a broad, balanced and creative curriculum
● To oversee and assess the quality of planning, teaching and of learning outcomes, promoting improvement strategies as necessary.
● To oversee the coordination of the co-curricular and extra-curricular activity programs of the Primary school
● To ensure high standards of behaviour for learning within the Primary Division.
● To conduct regular meetings with staff which will deal both with routine school matters and with the stimulating exchange of ideas on issues of educational/philosophical interest and concern
● To ensure the Primary school structures, processes and staffing deliver a high standard of pastoral care.
● To ensure that Primary School systems and process allow staff and students to operate in a safe and healthy environment
