Students Enrollment: Approx. 1600 in total
• plan, resource, and deliver library lessons within the Junior School Curriculum for identified classes, in accordance with school expectations and requirements
• support teaching and learning across the curriculum, particularly in developing information literacy skills monitor student progress in skill development, in accordance with the school’s policies and practices
• create an enabling library environment in which student development flourishes
• help foster a ‘reading for pleasure’ culture, exposing children to a wide range of quality literature and promoting relevant competitions or events
• contribute effectively and regularly to the Junior School’s co-curricular programme
• take initiative with regard to their own professional development and learning
• attend PL days, parents’ information events, staff meetings and community events as required
• remain up to date with developments and best practice in education related to the Junior School
• carry out any other duty as may reasonably be required by the Head of Junior School.
